...What springs to get... oh man.

I've searched. I've read. I've researched. I've called. I've heard other peoples opinions. So here's the dilemma.

Through my research I've learned that most companies who offer springs with about a 2" drop have a spring rate of about 30% better than stock. If it's less that 2" then its anywhere between 5-20% depending on the company.

Well, me being me I want a 30% increase over stock on spring rate but not a 2" drop due to the fact I'm still considering buying 18" rims. Now I don't mind a 2" drop if I'm set on 17" rims, but that's another issue and it's all about the offset...

I'm trying to avoid having a car with nice 18" rims, flush with the vehicle due to perfect offset, but rubbing and what not due to a 2" drop. So what now? Do I stick to 17" rims with a 30% increase on spring rate, or do I go with 18"?

I've considered every spring out there and now I just don't know where to go from here.

go ahead with 18" rims, try the Tein H-Techs...nice drop and it rides even better than stock and remains pretty stiff with cornering...i'm very satisfied with mine and so are a lot of people here...especially with these good old California roads
