so after all the drama given to me by a local city police officer (pulled over and cited for "modified exhaust amongst other things), i had my car tested at the referee. And i passed with flying colors! the decibel read out was only...drum roll please...
89.1 dcb! 6 decibels lower that the legal limit. Just goes to show how bored some officers can be to where they need to hassle us for NOTHING! Trust me though, I respect and love our police, sheriff, and CHP departments and what they do for us...but some individual officers, are just trying to prove the wrong points to their supervisors.
Well, just letting all you Cali residents, and anybody else with strict tuner laws...that the HKS hi-power is the real deal when they say "50 state legal"
Which i can't say for other companies who put that same phrase on the box...*cough*AEM*cough*

i HAD the Injen CAI...but no more...
but i do recommend taking your car to the ref and getting the exhausts cleared so that when a cop pulls u over, u can show him the paper and be cleared
