ok, this is kind of random. But all you xB owners out there, have you notice that you car kill a lot of bugs? I know mine does... which is kinda nasty. I have never seen that many bugs died (smashed into patches of sticky stuff, with wings attached) on a car before.... ewwwww.....

Move to the southeast, and encounter "LOVEBUGS". They are the only bug I knwo that will cover your whole front end in less than a week. Your white car will turn black. On top of that, their bodies are acidic, so if you don't remove them within a week, their guts eat through your clearcoat AND paint!

you know the old joke, don't you? What's the last thing to go through a bug's mind when it smashes against your car?

(punch line will be supplied if no one knows it)

Just think of it as trying to control the spread of West Nile Virus.

Driving over little creek or slough bridges when on the freeway is the worst. On the way to BOTI going down I5, I turned my head for a second to look and when I looked back, the entire windshield was covered. I must've taken out an entire swarm of something... or at least cut a big square through the middle of it.

If you buy the front "bra" for the hood, it deflects 90% of the bugs, and helps evenly disburse your windhield washer fluid when driving. Some sort of aerodynamics crap. It definately works.
