low pressure light
I tried searching but didn't find anything. I recently rotated the tires on my Tc. Now the low pressure light keeps coming on. I have checked and all the tires are properly inflated. Has any one else had this issue or know what is causing it?
I've hit it about 5 times now. I didn't change tire pressure in any way while rotating them. They all say 33 which is what I had them set at before. This is the second time I've rotated the tires, the first time I didn't have any problem.
you need to press and hold it down while starting the car (when all the warning lights pop up). . .thats the only way it will reset.
If this doesnt work, the problem is somewhere else. . .
i dont know..

^^ not 100 % true... Pressing the button only turns the light off, it keeps the default pressure the same. You have to hold the button until the light goes off and then let go. And THEN press teh button again and hold it for about ten seconds or so, until the Tire Pressure Sensor light blinks a couple times. That will then change the default tire pressure, to the actual tire pressure in your tires and the light will stay off!! Tada

When everything else fails, try following the instructions in the manual.
i got so mad at the tech that worked on my car because the light kept coming on. i work at a chrysler dealership and one of my techs adjusted my tire pressure. once i figured out how to get the light off for good. i felt like an idiot. haha.

step 1
check and make sure that your tires are inflated to the correct pressure
step 2
turn the ignition switch to the ON position. If the low tire pressure warning light comes on, push and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch (in the glove box) until the warning light turns off and then release the switch.
step 3
now press and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch until the low tire pressure warning light blinks three times.
step 4
initialization is *not* completed until driving at the vehicle speed of 19 mph or over for more than one hour. the tire pressure monitoring starts when initialization is completed.
