So, I could spend $230 on a new midpipe. Or, less than that to simply hack my cat out and replace it with a resonator. Do those ZPI and Megan midpipes add anything special? From what i've seen they're the same diameter and stainless steel material.

 

They are not same diameter. Stock is samller. If u wanna save just hve one made at a muffler shop.

 

I have a ZPI midpipe for sale if your intreseted. The ZPI Mid pipe is just a straight pipe where as the Megan has resonators built in.
