Default trd exhaust

well, the 07 tc that i had, was totaled on january 20th. and yesterday i bought an 05. flint mica. it has the trd exhaust on it already. my question is..is there any way to make it sound..better? maybe taking the cat out or something? i like the way it sounds at low rpm's..and its nice that its not very loud. but it sounds like crap when you get on it..in my opinnion. so if anybody has the trd axleback, and has done anything else with their exhaust to get a little better of sound..let me know. thanks in advance for any help.

dont get me wrong..its not horrible. nothing i cant live with. i just wish it still had a little more at higher rpm's. im not really into the ____ed off bumble bee sound like most ppl with 4cyl's are for some reason. i just wish it had that good low sound it does at low rpm's above 3k too. and yes, ive thought about the CAI. i figured that might help. although money is kind of tight right now. being that i totaled that 07. and took a new loan out for the 05, still having to owe toyota some money after my insurance paid the loan off. i didnt realize i didnt have gap insurance. so they only gave me what the car would get sold for on a lot with 4800 miles on it. and i had a $1000 deductible. as you can see..totaling it wasnt something id planned on doing. haha.

thanks aznboy2lee. ill look into it. i'll figure something out, just wanted to see if i could get some input on it real quick. id hate to just take the cat out..being that then the car would be illegal. and will that make the "check engine" light come on in our cars?
