I still say pocket the $3000 and just get a hot girl for the passenger seat. The potential for fun is on a much different level than a "turd o charger"

lol, how true

there are some things you could do, but youd probably have a lot left over

basic bolt ons, underdrive pulley, and then some engine internals

Um...oh yeah....about the hot girl in the passenger seat....ever heard the song Animal by Nickleback? If so I need not explain .......if not....go take a listen and you will see the light!

Ok seriousley though, that's a nice amount of cash....are you looking for a little extra power or some looks? I think that given equal money you will get more things for your car look wise.....more bang for your buck.

if i were you, i'd save up a little more for a turbo kit.

you could start with:

header
midpipe + catback
tein ss coilovers
new rims + tires

that should fit your budget quite nice.

gettin all the basic bolt ons would only improve your car very slightly...talkin like 10 hp and tq on average that you would use daily.....i guess it really depends on "how fast" you want to go, etc....could get a nice nav system and dvd.....cause if you want to go turbo eventually, theres no point gettin all the intake, header, etc....exhaust yes, but the turbo will replace most of your stuff if you're evntually gonna go in that direction...

hey man,

you should use that money towards a sick stereo systme. I'm talking monitors, custom sub enclosures, lighting, the works. Have it hooked up my friend!! You could proably get most of that for 2G's and have a G left to get a CAI, Header and Axel back exhaust atleast. JMO

Then you're only going to spend like a grand. Full exhaust and an intake takes care of any bolt-on that will give you any kind of power. You could do nitrous, but you'd shoot your eye out/break your car/be an idiot and use it on public roads.

Take the $3,000 and invest it or put it towards paying off your car.

use that to get some of the stuff you'll need for a turbo or supercharger. gauges, spark plugs, clutch. or maybe upgrade your footwork first. which are suspension, sway bars, brakes and tires. but the thing you'll enjoy more almost all the time is some nice i.c.e.

Clutch, Flywheel, Crank Pulley, Sway Bars, Intake, Exhaust, Nitrous, Short Shifter, Brakes, Tires, Engine Damper, etc... theres a few options. Most of those will still be compatible and helpful with the turbo setup. My nitrous was a temporary solution until I take the leap to FI, but it can still be used in conjunction, either as a chemical intercooler, or to actually cool the air to air intercooler...
