Sorry if this has been brought up already, but I haven't been here for a couple of days. So has anybody else noticed that the TRD clutch is available now. I'm buying it in two weeks, can't wait.

View Full Version : TRD clutch! gwtc 08-20-2004, 02:53 AM Sorry if this has been brought up already, but I haven't been here for a couple of days. I could understand if you had a turbo or supercharger, but with any engine mods short of that, you really don't need a stronger clutch. And I'm guessing you don't need to replace your clutch already due to wear. :) gwtc 08-20-2004, 03:13 AM Soon I will have custom header and a cat-back exhaust system installed on my car and the AEM cold air intake(if the people at partznet.com finally get one in their wharehouse). The TRD clutch should be a nice compliment to these mods, not to mention the TRD supercharger in the future. Enkidu 08-20-2004, 06:26 AM why r u getting the CAI if u r planning on the SC? ooopsij 08-20-2004, 07:22 AM SC doesn't include CAI you can see those sample pictures all over the web they don't have CAI with SC larry_flint 08-20-2004, 12:25 PM Soon I will have custom header and a cat-back exhaust system installed on my car and the AEM cold air intake(if the people at partznet.com finally get one in their wharehouse). Falloutking 08-21-2004, 02:59 AM Well and if your putting on a new clutch I would wait for a performance flywheel. Just seems like a waste of time to work all day putting in the new clutch and then want to put in a flywheel later. JEDI 08-21-2004, 03:23 AM Save the money. Your stock clutch will handle bolt ons just fine. In fact, I bet it will handle the supercharger as well. Enkidu 08-21-2004, 06:15 AM hmmm I could swear I read the SC was not gonna be compatible with the CAI... was finding it weird myself... heh. |
