Default possibly an xA?

Hey folks, brand new here, although I've lurking around for a couple of weeks. I've been toying with the idea of an xA. I've read some complaints about the A/C's effectiveness. Well, today I drove an '04. It was pretty warm out. I have to say, wow it sucked!! After doing some research here, I now realize there is a fix for it and apparently thay have made improvements on some of the later models. So, this is where my question come in to play. Are the '05's ok as far as the A/C is concerned? As I said, I did all the searching I could to try to answer this question. But, I could only find VIN# ranges.

Thanks for any feedback.

The A/C in my '05 works fine it just takes a while to finally get blowing really cold. But these cars have small engines so the compressor has to work over time to cool the whole car down.

the A/C in my 2005 (in hot south Florida summer weather) works fine! Especially if you make sure not to turn the fan on maximum. Turn it to the one less and it seems like the car cools down faster because the air gets colder.. less air being forced out by the A/C.

BTW, I LOVE my xA. I thoroughly enjoy driving it every day.
