Default Best news ive had in a year and a half!

For those of you who know, I have been on these boards for a while now, asking many questions about the tc and xb. For the past year and 1/2 I have been trying to afford one of these cars, but everytime I would have the money, Something in my life would happen and I would be screwed(long story short) Well, I did my taxes, and I am getting 1k back! And I have managed to save 2k over the time period, plus I will probably get at least 1k for my truck, so for 1 and 1/2 years of waiting I can finally put my down payment on a TC! of course, Ill be paying for 6 years but its about damn time!

awesome man...well you wont be paying for 6 years if you send two checks to toyota finance...example...car payment is $350/month....send 1 check for $350 and another check for whatever you can afford as "Apply to Principle", this is a quick way to cut the original balance and the interest down. good luck man...also see if you can find a loan with a lower APR rate...im at 12% right now, but when i transfer over i will be paying 7.5%...meaning about $75 dollars less a month...just some words of advice....good luck man!!!!!

congrats on the car! it looks like you have about 4k for the car which is mighty good!

BTW I refinanced mine and the APR decreased from 11% to 5.5% and im saving $50/month by doing that!

When I spoke to TFS - they said you can include the extra premium in one check and they automatically apply the difference to principle. FYI to save a tree somewhere.
