well im sitting at RREV motorsports in portland getting my kit installed now, im going with a 75 shot for now, ill let you guys know how much power i put down if we have time to dyno, it should put me over 200 so we will see

well it took it

my mods so far are injen CAI, injen catback exhaust, and dc sports header, i also have it tunned with a SAFC II,
i would put up the dyno sheet but i dont have a scanner so i will just tell ya my numbers

before nitrous 154 hp and 155 tq

after Nitrous 201 hp and 234 tq

it pulls hard and i love it, i hope it stays dry this weekend so i can go to the drag strip and get some times ill post up times if i get to go

but so far so good

 

any update? i'm thinking of getting a 50 shot and want to know more info from people that actually have nitrous on their tC

 

i love it, its been raining alot in seattle so i havent been able to go the the track but as soon as it drys out ill post my times, im also getting drag radials to help out a lil bit, but the nx kit is great

im assuming when ppl ask if you're modded they are refering to internal mods?

 

rampage im from kent where are you from seattle? and how much did the kit cost you and how much would a 50 shot cost?

 

if your talking to me, nothing. i might get an intake and exhaust for looks and sound, but i want my car to retain its mpg and reliability and i think a 50 shot of no2 is just what i need. i'll have the extra power for the track when somebody talks smack, but not all the time so it wont shorten my engine life as much as a turbo or sc

 

So....do you have the full setup as in....Bottle pressure gauge, bottle warmer, what kind of set up is it full throttle only or button, and do you have the purge?

Are you also running on stock spark plugs or 1 step colder?

There was a video i saw on youtube i believe he used a 50shot and was able to make about 220whp and 225tq.

 

i just have the basic wet setup, i dont have a heater or purge valve. and its a full throttle setup. im running stock plugs but i should check them, i did need the safcII i was running really lean before i added that. and im putting down 200hp and 235tq so i dont know how the guy was getting that much off a 50 shot when im running a 75 but who knows

 

if it's a wet kit, couldn't you have just played witht he nitrous + fuel jets to alleviate the lean condition instead of having to buy an SAFC?
