Hi All,
Jsut got the TANABE SUSTEC STRUT TOWER BAR and installed it myself this afternoon.
Since the instruction were entirely in Japanese I was unsure if there was anything important to know more than just to screw the two ends on the car. Is there anything else??
For example you can twist the bar to loosen or tighten the fit and or length of the total bar. Also there are other bolts for tightening but I really do not know what is important to help it do it's job right.

You don't screw it to all 3 bolts just two on each end.

the length comment confused me.
the only thing you do need to do is make sure you torque it down good. i think off hand it was like 60 pounds of it. I would search the tanabe site for specs.

LOL, I know that means "something" but I am so un-car educated. Maybe when I get my rims put on I will ask them to check the bar also. I did not lift the car when I installed it.

Thanks! I am happy with what I have don in the past 3 months since I got this car. 1 step at a time.
I got the Tanabe for both price and I really like the quality of Tanabe products so far. I like the idea of more curves in the metal like the TRD and others but this does just fine as it's designed well.

i am reffering to the amount of pounds you put on each bolt turning wise. you can judge the pounds by using a torgue wrench from anywhere. cheap ones are around 20 bux.

One ft/Lb of torque is one pound of froce applied to a wrench one foot from the center of the socket head.....
Or, just get it tight and one good grunt.
