Default need advice...

I'm planning on getting a xb soon and was wondering, what are the chance of me getting a xb for this price, $16904, out the door with taxes and regristration included, along with the options listed below? If you can give an opinion or words of advice that would be great. And if there are any Scion Sales Rep. out there, your opinion would be even better. TIA

accessories total = $2,709

Interior:
-Front strut tie bar by hotchkis tuning
-carpeted floor mats/cargo mat
-cold air induction system by AEM
-simulated carbon fiber molded dash applique

Exterior:
-fog lights
-TRD lowering springs
-TRD shocks
-TRD assembly clutch
-TRD sport muffler
-Rear tailights by TYC

I have a 5 speed and I got out the door 15,900...no options...so no there is no way...save your money and go aftermarket. Every option is over priced anyways. DO NOT get the floormats! They wear out after about 3 months and thats just a waste of 70 bucks. I got a full set of rubber ones for 10 bucks at autozone

I agree with The Danger,

I think I got somewhere close to what you want with an auto, spoiler and fogs.

Also, he mentions that the aftermarket parts are much cheaper than the OEM...which is Completely true. Why do you want this parts installed at port? Is it because you want to add them to your finance total amount?? If thats the case...I hate to break it to you but I dont think your gonna get it.

Also, you might try getting your setup done on www.scion.com first and then seeing how much it comes up to...from there you might add somewhere around 700-1000 dollars for taxes, destination charges, document fees and all that stuff!

Good Luck! and let us know what the outcome is... :D

Just to further what I said before...if you like OEM parts Scionsport.com has almost every part that dealer offers for at least 100 dollars cheaper. Also some of the things that you want you can find better for less. Just my 2 cents. The biggest thing though is DO NOT get the floormats. Hell go get floormats on your way to pick it up. But do not waste your 70 bucks.

Yup, I'd say the odds are not in your favor. Considering a stock box with a 5-speed goes for about $14300, figure another 10% for tax, license, and other assoc fees, puts you at $15700. That leaves roughly $1200 for all your goodies.

Now, considering the obscene prices most dealers around here charge for parts and labor on your options, you'd be MUCH better off getting them on your own. The TRD parts, except for the springs, are expensive, and the dealer will charge an arm and a leg to install them. I remember seeing prices like $450 parts/labor for the cold air intake, something like $250 p/l for the front STB, etc.

I made up my own CAI, using a Uni dual stage foam filter and some 3" aluminum flex ducting, for about $30. The TRD springs were $150, then another $180 for the installation and 4-wheel alignment. A 34-piece wood kit was $170, which is a LOT cheaper than most other kits I've seen out there.

Just a heads up incase you used that aluminum foil type dryer ducting....REPLACE IT! Seriously. I used that stuff on my old Integra to make a "ram air" duct from grill to the airbox, and the foil crap started flaking off and building up on the air filter

So hopefully you are using the rigid/flexible :? stuff, the actual aluminum tubing and not the foil crap that I used.

Sorry man, but this vehicle is a haggle free sale. Go to scion.com price it out and there is your total. The dealership really can't negotiate with this vehicle, besides you want the world and than some for 16,904? Thats what mine was with the spoiler foglights and the extended warranty out the door. I think you may have to reconsider the options you want.

Not going to happen.

I reccomend buying all the accessories you want [even the dealer ones] aftermarket anyway. You can get them for at least 40-50% less online at a place like scionsport and install them yourself. There's no need to pay twice as much for this stuff, not to mention the interest on a loan.
