I need to replace my '91 Geo Metro and have looked at all the options. My choice was a VW Golf TDI but it seems that quality and dealerships might be poor or lacking. The Scion xA seems to be the most fuel efficient and quality option although fuel efficiency is only about 2/3 of the one litre Metro. I ordered a Scion xA this morning. Auto (arthritis in feet and hope one works when I need it), Polar White and all the air bags. Four to eight weeks delivery I am told.

A question. I desire undercoating. The salesman checked the office and was told that the xA is undercoated at the factory and that further undercoating was not desirable. Something to do with moisture accumulation. Does anyone have any other information on undercoating of Scions?
