I currently have an hks hi-power axle back exhaust and i love the low rumble sound it makes, i wuz lookin to get an injen CAI and either Megan Headers or DC Sports headers but I dont wanna sound like a damn honda either. will headers make my exhaust sound raspy? i want the power but dont know if im willin to sacrifice sound for 3-4 horsepower. :tap:

yes it will make your exhaust sound raspy. the only way to tone it down will be to add long resonators on your mid-pipe.

yes ... two 18" resonators on the mid pipe should help alot!

if it's just headers and exhaust... it will have a high tone...

high flow cat and a long resonator should help with rasp
i used to have a megan header and HKS setup.. sounded very raspy.. but i added like 2 18"resonators and it made it sound smooth.. although, it was still loud.

High flow cat? Would that resonate sound? Also will you pass emission tests with high flow cats?
