Default What do you love about the box?

Hey guys,

With all the talk about why we like the classic over the new xB. I was curious. What do you love MOST about the precious box?

For me,
1. Style-can't beat the sqaurest hip thing on the road
2. Price-I'm poor
3. MPG- I love $20 fill ups.
4. Community-I read more of these forums than the newspaper

The rear seat comfort is a great bonus for me! You wont find me giving up the driver's seat to anyone...but no reason my passengers should have to be uncomfortable. Its almost more comfy in the back of an xB than the front!

During the work week, the room is great for hauling supplies.

Solid handling on turns is fun, and makes it feel great cutting in and out of traffic packed city streets.

Square is cool.

I also like that I don't get paper cuts from the edges.

I absolutely love it when I see a little kid ,in the back of mom's mini van, totally take a double look, smile, poke his brother that's sitting next to him and then point at me and my car. I love the looks of peoples faces when they see it. It's awesome!

I LOVE it when people tell me, "I'm sorry but your car is ugly!" cause I know I have something unique. Gotta love the squareness of it...

Every reason to this point and soooo many more. It's one of those things that is very hard to nail down into words. I just love my Box and everything it involves.
I'm hurt that Scion couldn't come up with a name for the replacement like they originally said they would. Oh well, hopefully no one will mistake the new one for an original xB.

I love how you can take it apart with a socket wrench...
It's like a lego car.

I agree with everyone. My favorite ones are when my students (I teach high school) say they hate my car. But there's the lurkers that secretly want to drive it.

They always can spot me on the road though.

I love the MPG, DEFINITELY the room, the uniqueness ( hip to be square..lol) and the features for the price.

OK, what do I mean by "honesty?" The box is a very honest design - very "form-follows-function." There aren't a bunch of swoopy curves and lines, very little in the way of unnecessary kruft added just to make it "fashionable." The box is a box and doesn't apologize for it.

The very first time I saw one was an early TV commercial as someone else was flipping channels. By the time we got back to the channel the commercial was over, but I knew I wanted one. My comment, in fact, was "I want one! What is it?"

The box doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. It's comfortable with itself. :D
