Can the front seats in the xd recline all the way to meet the rear seats as in the scion xb and honda fit?

I don't believe so. ..

they should have put that seat from the matrix that folds flat forward so u can put lumbar and other long items in the car easily in the xa and xb. would really make good use of the space.

the nissan versa has a rear seat that slides as do plenty of suvs and minivans

The Yaris has sliding rear seats too.
