I'll sign and I don't even have a tC, the last thing I need to see is another set of Altezza taillights. While at it, why not start an aluminum wing, vinyl, huge muffler, and LED washer light petition as well :wink:

as fruity as altezzas look.... they make the clean cars more unique. "ricey" options are never gonna go away. trends change. if someone wants to make an ___ of themself by buying into the tin can mufflers and aluminum swing sets.... let them do it. the only value dropping is the value of their own car. like someone said.... just point, laugh, maybe even post it on laughatrice.com and be done with it.

Yeah the sc300 is a nice mid/large-sized sports coupe :). Actually I htink the current models are small/mid-sized, though they used to be bigger.

It's inevitable, based on the market class, I wouldn't be surprised if within a years time 50% if not more of TCs on the road will be rice mobiles.

i dont really get what this petition would do, because there's a lot of people out there who probably dont even know of this site, and would just do it anyway. I personally hope that altezzas dont touch the tC, but lets say that i did like them, and i saw this petition online. How would that stop me from putting altezzas on my car anyway?

i think it was just a fun idea during a bored period at the computer...shooting down an idea wont fix the problem though :wink:

im not a big fan of the altezza's lites either but i think the tyc ones they offer for the xb look tight on the xb

Sad but absolutely true. At least we (early/first owners) will get a year or so without the excessiveness.

Altezzas are the best things ever!!!! I can't wait to put them on our demo tC along with some curb feelers. :lol:

man... i liked the "Altezza" lights when they first came out for the IS300... then i HATED the Altezza lights on MY OWN IS300 because by then i saw them everywhere... on EVERY stinkin car BUT the IS (think the car started losing it's appeal when the 5spd finally came out). Hated it so much that i got the chromie parts custom painted on mine to flat black.

even more annoying was that Altima commercial that BLATANTLY copied the already played out style and claimed that they invented it.

Altezzas can look good very rarely on some cars. I think they'd look hideous on tC's. I hope I never have to see it. Sign me up.

Something like the lexus prototype head/tail lights would be pretty sweet on a tC though. (Mainly the overlapping side turn signals)
