Check to make sure the connection coupler is tight. You may need to add some worm clamps to the rear mount to keep it from shifting side to side in the rubber mount. I was worried about my Strup doing that same thing but because I used a new clamp and gasket it is staying perfectly centered in the hole. Good luck and keep us posted of any fix?

Mine burnt my rear lip but it's not noticeable. What I did was take two industrial zip ties and ran them through the rubber hanger. One going left, one going right. to metal parts of the underbody. Tighten em up and it won't move at all.

Did you make sure the clamp was tight? That is what helps keep it from moving side to side. On mine I have about a 3/4 inch gap all the way around the tip.

I just installed mine maybe 2 weeks ago and I did it in my garage. I have not had it move once. I had my wife hold it in the exact spot I wanted and then I tightened it at the clamp. I then made sure it was not able to move to much and have been keeping an eye on it. Make sure you have that gasket ring thing in between the pipe fittings and tighten it down real good while someone holds it in place for you. I hope this helps. I can take pics if you want, although I only have a phone camera so no guarantees on the pic quality.

On mine, my old gasket was shot. It came un wound and was not going to work plus I wanted a new looking clamp so I ordered both pieces long before I did the install. You might want to check and see if your gasket was reusable. That may be why it is moving around.

LOL mine did the same but luckily the Greddy came with a new one that seemed way better, so it was all good.

where the stock pipe and the new axle back come together. The evo pipe goes over the stock on basically. In between there is where the gasket goes, so then when you clamp it down it holds it in there nice and tight. I was wondering why so many people were having problems with their axle backs moving on them. Maybe they too didn't realize that goes in there. My Evo2 has been on for a couple of weeks and not once has it moved from the exact (naked eye measurement) center of the exhaust cutout.

NP man it's the least I could do after you helped me out with the exhaust nightmare I went through LOL. The main reason I knew about the gasket is just because I have been working on cars since I was a little kid with my dad.

well technically it is so there is no exhaust leak, but I am sure if it has been this long a little longer won't really hurt.

I wonder if the gasket from greddy is better than the OE one? The one from the dealer was under ten bucks I think. Glad we helped ya figure out whats wrong tho iheartzombies.
