We will be gathering Between 11-11:30 AM and then cruising to Tomahawk BBQ restaurant in North Van for eats. Check out there website, they started in 1926. www.tomahawkrestaurant.com
After lunch we are planning to cruise out to Lighthouse Park in West Van.

We have had people out from 18 up to almost 50ish

We did have one out in the first couple meets, but moved back to Seattle, so you would be the only one. Right now

As for meeting, it is even harder to get people out for meets because of the weather. We are going to try and get our new page going http://604scion.ning.com/ and hope that we will have a few more players when Scions come to Canada in 2010:lalala:

604 Scion party this Thusrday everybody:eek:

I don't know what the heck is scion doing.. but they just wasted their precious budget on this party that almost no one in this scion club knows about...
Sure a lot of people showed up at the club but I noticed there was only me, matis and one of my friend with a TC showed up.
If they are so alternative in marketing... how come they forgot us? The scion owners. We are their best salesmen. We are the people that recommend scion to all the friends we know and spreading the word on what a great car it is.
There was a huge line up at the entrance to the club but no one has any idea what scion is. They played some scion clips that no one pay any attention to and most people there think "scion" is some club promoter.
My friends got there pretty late and there was plenty of parking even in front of the club. People at this event don't even own cars!!!!

I just feel so disappointed that from the profit they made on the cars we bought, they just went out and tossed a party that no potential future scion customer will notice. No wonder Scion is going down the drain.... seriously..

What happened to the Scion event that happened in Puyallup a few years back....

They really dropped the bomb on this one..

They'd have been better off just givin you guys some cash and letting you plan something yourselves.

A few friends of mine went to the Biltmore event, and they were disappointed too. They mentioned alot of the issues that Sature brought up. I agree, Scion Canada has not done a good job putting this event together....need to involve Scion owners!

Hey xb_kusshi, I have tried to get it going again a few times with no results, I even dared someone to post something up.
6machine did post up about a beach meet and greet out at his place in Whiterock, but no date yet.

As always, I am willing to meet up almost anytime,

So the Openroad Toyota Group is planning some thing in August for the intro of the Scion line in The lower mainland. The are looking for owners of Scion to come out. Is anyone interested? They are shooting for the one of the first two weekends in August.

You know it might help if you posted this in the regional northwest section. Im suprised you guys arent included in it. We should talk to the moderators about that. cause you guys would get more traffic and response to vancouver area and etc if it was included in the northwest section.

So i don't think it's as good as i thought. I read over the waiver and the insurance police have a $2500 accident deductible. I don't think i care to risk $2500 to drive a car for 4 day. So to all out there.. remember to read the fine print!

i have a tc in 604 :D

It has been pretty slow, Best meet and greet was 9. We were hoping that more would get involved now that they are sold in Canada.

Right now there are only first gen xBs, We have a new member that is pretty gungho and started a facebook group under "604 scion" check it out and post up. We will get something going in the spring when weather gets a little better and we all start putting our rims on and get clean from the winter. A couple people want to meet up soon so keep an eye out and see if you can make it or post something up your self and see who comes.
