Quick question for those with TRD sway bar...
Street or Race setting???
I'm not sure which one to go with.... or if there are any advantages/disadvantages between the two settings.
I'm thinking race, but am unsure.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

hmmm just please remember how you take the old stock OUT. Cos that's the way the new one will have to go in. That was the only tricky part when my friend helped me install mine

The race setting does a great job of balancing the car out without making it too stiff. Based on running that setting, I cant imagine the street setting making much difference. And since ride is still pretty nice with it on the stiff setting, I think it would be a waste to switch back and forth.
^Thanks. I was a bit concerned about ride on the race setting, since it's supposed to be >60% stiffer than stock. Once I get the bar I'm still going to try the street setting first, at least to see how much improvement there is over stock, and how much the ride degrades. My ride is already fairly harsh, as it seems the stock struts don't adequately control the motion of the TRD springs.
You will only notice a harsher ride when you hit uneven bumps (which is why super stiff sways can be detrimental on normal streets). When you hit things like expansion joints or speed bumps, the suspension moves together, so there is no effect. But when hitting a bump on one side of the car only, more of that is transferred to the other side with a stiff sway. But I didnt notice it being too much worse than running just the trd springs. I also have stock struts with TRD springs.
haha yeah this goes way back to an old quote of mine one of the sl kids here got it in his signature...
