well could be worse... i guess that play "v-monologues".... was at a theater in florida somewhere... and some lady drove by with her young neice and complained about the name... didnt think it was appropriate to be displayed or something.. so the theater owner changed the V-word to "who-ha"

The funny thing is that I've been by that store several times over the past few months (its been open for a while). Why is it just now making waves???

It makes me notice it every time I drive by. Had I any dogs...I'd probably shop there. Its a great concept/name and appeals to upscale 20s/30s in that area who are the same 'Crave' type women who are shopping in the Fremont/Wallingford/Ballard boutiques (which charge $200-300/pair for jeans). They've reached a niche and I think they will take off...and hey...free advertising for them curtosy of the media!

I find the whole vagina>who-ha story offensive. Since when is the proper name for our genitalia a naughty word?

Also, it's been proven that teaching children to call their private parts by their real names and not cute little "who-ha" or "weenie" type names, can help prevent molestation. It makes the offender feel as though the child is more learned on what's sexual and what's not okay to touch if they say "Don't touch my penis" instead of "Don't touch my pee-pee" and therefore are more likely to not continue and move on.

That’s funny. I don’t find it offensive, but I can see how some people may think it inappropriate.

Sure it’s just a word that is technically correct (female dog), but it can also be used as a vulgar and derogatory term. Take for example, if some tobacco shop owner changed his sign to use the word “f_g”. It’s technically correct, but I’m sure more than a few people would find it inappropriate.

I remember the co-owner dude, the brother named Ryan,.. he was on this show on Bravo for people who show their dogs,.. him and his "partner" had many conflicts on that show, I CRACKED UP EVERY TIME because the one that was manly and buff,.. cried like a baby,... && their poor little male dog was put into a feathered boa,.. which is available at High Maintanance B*@&%. :D

Some people just get too hung up on current vulgar use of words that have been legitimately used in the language for usually hundreds of years.

These days if you don't use the 'current word-of-the-day' for describing a group of people, even, you can be hung out to dry.
