How many people are activly trying to get sponsored if any? I know i'm actually now starting to really get into doing some work and putting some stuff on paper. If you are trying... lemme know... i'm trying to trade idea's or just get a feel of how other people are doing... I'm actually working a BIG one now... Lemme know.

Well this is the stuff i wanted to hear and not hear, i was hoping someone has actually landed one that away he or she could help out the people who are "still wet behind the ears..." I'm actually starting on Audio/Video sponsorship, and probally going to work on performance as well. I guess what i'm getting so far is your basically selling your idea to a place that you potentially want to get sponsored. Send them a profile about yourself, your vehicle... current mods, future mods, shows attended, shows planning on attending, and basically what you can provide the company as far as their product... ie. Being able to attend all the big shows on the east coast. This is what i'm going with... i think this is a reasonable approach, and F it.. i'll learn from my mistakes, thus making it easier on you all... Anyway if anyone actually has landed a sponsorship, and would like to make a correction or add to what i said, hook us up! :D

Tell me what you all think about something like this? I would try it, but the whole credit card thing is always sketchy?

 That is what i'm thinking, but for those of us with little or no time to actually sit down and work hard on the sponsorship stuff... why not try it out, see what you get and maybe ride one sponsorship out and use that to get something bigger, you know?

If you go to the SE homepage, it gives you tips on how to get sponsored. That is the best idea from what I have seen.

Yeah i'm putting like 1/2hrs aside just to update my proposal... then find out what i would like to get sponsored by and get to work... i think that if i give it a little bit here and there and ask questions, something will come around... :D
