So, I'm not completely sure...but I sort of remember seeing someone with a gauge in their gauges that was a radar detector. I'm getting sick of mine with the chord hanging all over the car and was just wondering what companies make these, if they're any good, and if anyone has any pics.

I've never heard of that. I'm also interested in seeing this. Oh and by the way Tony, how did you get your buster to stick above your rearview?

That...is pretty sweet. Definitely something to keep in mind....if it didn't cost $400.

$280.00 isn't that bad if it's a quality radar. I paid $120.00 for my current one, and it's alright, still doesn't catch some cops until you're 20 feet away...

this is a second generation of the Pro-3450. I have the Pro-3450 and i love it. I cant believe that for under $200 there was a good, hidden, detector. Look up the ratings on it ....its rated well and is the only one rated that high in its class. They go all the way up to the thousands of dollars depending on the brand and ways they are mounted.

You can always take one apart and mount the display/indicators remotely if you do it right.

I mounted mine above the rearview mirror and spliced the power into the orange cable from the sunroof controls, grounded on the screw up top. Voila, no cord.
