Decided to not get a tC and get this..
For the past year or two I have been comtemplating getting a new car.
A tC was 1 of the front runners, and I took numerous test drives with a bunch of cars but the tC stood out nicely. It was unique at the time and had all the spiffy options I could add on.
Well about 6 months ago I got to try out a MINI Cooper S. It was simply AMAZING. It felt a bit more peppier and at the same time had a lot more control in terms of handling then a tC. So I spent the next few months saving some extra money, and I put my name on the list for a 2007 MINI Cooper S in September. December 1st I was able to put an order for one, and then Feb 22nd I accepted delivery on the car. (2007's didnt launch until Feb 17th in the United States. Complete redesign of the 02-06 MINI Cooper)
It performs great.. It really kicks fast in low gears at low RPM's. There is no turbo lag thanks to the Twin Scroll, and its different! I love unique/different cars. It also has a few slick things that I love.. Like Push Button Start, and the Cabin Mood Lightning that can be changed to like 5-6 different colors..
It was a long wait, but cared to share with everyone and wanted to thank this forum for helping me with all the great info on the tC. I have lurked for so long wish I posted with more questions sometimes, but Searching always seemed to find them.. Anyways, Motor on!

The car drives wonderfully! Its amazing how fast you can take turns in this car
It has a go-kart feeling and it seems to be very unique to MINIs
Its funny.. I had a co-worker in my car the other day and we were making a turn up ahead and she was a bit freaked out at how fast I was going into the turn, but then it felt so natural for the car she couldn't believe it
