I am so happy I finally got my XB, I was waiting for the 08 but when I saw it I knew I needed to go to the dealer to see if any 06's were left. I also got a $500 dollar discount which made it that much sweeter.

I also looked today at 06's. Nobody here in south Florida is offering any discounts.

Nice! Was it executive driven? That would explain the $500 discount.

 

I had to call around to like 6 dealers in the bay area and this was the only dealership offering a discount. It had 4 miles on it when I drove it off the lot. I think the discount was given becuase they had about 10 left and were afraid they were going to get stuck with them when the 08 comes out. I got mine at Walnut Creek, CA.

 

im doing the same thing right now. i dint like the 08 so i looked into getting a white 06. my dealer is transporting it to my area, + i get it for $14,060 i dont know if thats a discount or not, but i will say my local dealer is very scared about getting stuck with the few thay have on the lot right now. oh well ... all i know is im getting my white xB in 2 weeks!!!

Congrats. I am going to Smithtown at the end of march. I know someone that works there from ScioNRG and he told me that they have about 15 old school xBs. Even some polar whites, the color that I want *drools*

They offer the discounts here in Central Arkansas too. He said it is a once in a lifetime opportunity (supposedly) that the factory gave them permission to discount.

 

Congrats....lucky to get a discount too, never heard of any discounts at Toyota around here, especially on a Scion. Have Fun!

Good color chioce! Now you too own an "appliance". And white is actually quite easy to keep looking clean. It is dark colors (esp. black) which are a pain to keep looking clean. I've owned both so I know from personal experience.

 

Gratz on the White purchase form another fellow PW owner. I too saw a sneak preview of the 08 back in Jan (dont ask). Anyways I immediately called Carson Scion and had the purchase done over the phone and picked up the car the next day. I was so excited and they even came to my house and picked me since I wasn't trading in my Tundra. I have never looked back after the purchase I love this Box. I am so addicted to modding it too. I only wish I had a digital camera.
