super newbie Help
i have a HKS hi power exhaust that is just the rear section and i was informed it would b good to just buy a midpipe 1. what kinda midpipe would be good and how are they in average 2. i know this is really newbie but what exactly is the s-pipe, from the headers; is that like the downpipe?
THANKS!
THANKS!
We're all noobs once. Asking for something is demanding a luxury, the luxury of not having to search. Nevertheless, I'll indulge you. Megan Racing and ZPI make midpipes, and that's about it; you probably should have popped for a full cat-back exhaust (midpipe + the axleback). The S-pipe is a pipe that connects the header to the midpipe. It is also called a downpipe. The header (singular) connects the engine's exhaust output to the exhaust system. I suggest just replacing the s-pipe and midpipe, the headers are tricky as they can cause check engine lights and make your exhaust sound really raspy and unpleasant.
i know i should use the search button but it is quite difficult at times and it doesnt always give me the best information that i want, it would be scattered; all in all THANKS for the response and one last question, you think it would be okay to get the megan midpipe with the HKS axle back exhaust?
