ok, i know its an old game, but for some odd reason, there has been a huge resurgence of players online for the PC. Anyone else here playing it still?

Tons of fun. If you have never played it, you should..one of the best star wars games in the franchise imo.

i rule at this.... i only have it for xbox,,, i also have dark forces, dark forces2 jedi knight, and jedi outcast... i try and play anytime i have friends over... capture the flag is the most fun with 4 ppl....

LOL that hilarious. But a pretty cool symbol. If i did ever see that in public though id shake a persons hand for having it. The game rocks. I love the online version, so many mods since the game is pretty easy to manipulate. Its crazy. I run around in my anakin skywalker skin. carazy

Jedi Academy is a good game. I like it alot. I play it sometimes. I wish they made a new one.

For the first time in a few years they finally have a new expansion pack coming out. They are upgrading all the models and maps to be "graphically challenging " for todays high end gaming rigs. Not to mention making levels on a grander scale. Gonna be pretty sweet..even if it is a lame attempt at cashing in on us star wars freaks

the official name is Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

but a lot of the gaming community just calls it Jedi knight 3 or JK3 or Jedi academy or JKA

Was pretty popular, came out on xBox even...but the pc was hugely more popular mainly because u could battle it out online

I have all the Jedi knight games. Dark forces 2:Jedi knight. Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith, Jedi Knight :outcast and my favorite Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. You said they are coming out with an expansion pack? Do you know when they are going to release it?

there is a website forum for all the games where you can download skins for practially any starwars character or location...
there is a game out i think only for the portables... starwars lethal alliance... it looks like it uses the same style and graphics engine as the jedi series... im watching an ebay auction... ill let you know how it plays...

and they are releasing another game... Force Unleashed... still trying to get info on this, but it looks like it plays the same and it takes place between Ep. 3 and 4...

All of those games were really, really fun.
I still throw in my xbox copy of academy every once in a while.

i think im gonna play it again... after i finish star wars lego the original trilogy

The last time I played Jedi Academy online for the xbox the host turn off the force powers. I was so mad. I bought the game to play online as a Jedi not a reg person with a light saber. I haven't played it online ever since that. I just play the missons over.

I think the force unleashed is what i was talking about. But maybe i read wrong when reading about it. I read read it was gonna be basically an updated version of Academy w/new features and maps etc. But maybe it will be a new game, i just didnt know they were continuing the series.

Just make sure if u play the PC game online u download JA+ MOD 2.3 http://jediknight2.filefront.com/file/JA_Mod_23;41254

Download that and you'll find all of the servers that people are playing on (several hundred)

The game is great been playing it every night and even started mapping some new maps again.

niiiice. not sure if id have the nerve to get that tattooed on my body (its not tattoos that scare me, i have some ). Pretty sure everyone would ridicule me around here for that lol. oh well wish i could though.
