and no Tc's here in indianapolis

and today i just saw a sliver Xb with a couple that appeared to be in there late 30's to early 40's.

just been bought!!!

but yet again i wasn't in my Xa was in a work truck :|

kind of makes me feel good to have just about the only Xa in town :D

I see a couple xAs here and there but still about 3x as many xBs. tC is newer so its hard to say so far.

I have seen: 0 xA, 2 xB & 1 tC, Now this is in a try city area that has a total pop of less then 75,000 people. Also the nearest Scion dealer is 100 miles away.

June 2004 Sales

xB--5,235

xA--2,933

Did not include tC sales. Saw those figures recently and think they were about twice those of the xB.

I've seen more tc's then anything where I am, Boxes are here and there, but there was a recent influx of xa's... I seen about 5 of them within the past couple of days

2 other bsp's stock, 2 ssm's one with factoyr 1's, one with Cx style 18's, and one pw stock... We are finally getting on the map

I've seen one or two other xAs in Tulsa and maybe a half-dozen xBs. I don't remember what the tC looks like, and I'm not terribly interested in sports cars, so I probably wouldn't notice one if I saw it.

The xA is still unusual enough that I get a lot of people walking up and asking me questions about it at the gas station or wherever. Most of them want to know if it's a hybrid.

Of course, my husband hears even more questions about his car ... but then, he drives a Honda Insight. With those fender skirts, it looks like a little red spaceship zipping down the road.

Tons of Boxes on the road here, but you're right....I can count only about four other xAs in the whole area AND that's counting one I've seen twice and one I saw parked on a street in Cambridge.

AMAZINGLY, the only other one in my neighborhood (I live south of the city) is about 1/4 mile away from my house and it's the SAME COLOR xA with the same package. I'm gonna have to get 17s and tint my car up to make it more distinctive.

Although, I do have Yakima bike racks on top and my vanity plate - WRITE - on the back.

I know there are other local xA owners, but I've never seen one besides mine! Well, except for the time Miko and I met, but that was on purpose

I see xBs all the time.

I might have seen a few tcs but who knows, they aren't as distinctive as the xA or xB so harder to spot.

Aint that true. The only tC I see around here I have to take a double take just to make sure its a tC. About the only real way I can tell is its a Azure Pearl so the color makes it stand out but thats about all. I keep seeing the same BCP xB at the local college here but I have not seen the TCM any more. Still have not seen a xA though

Hi everyone. This is my first time in the forum. I bought my Silver Streak Mica xA about a month ago (instead of the tC) and I love it. However, there are no other xA's in my neighborhood and I've only seen maybe 10 other xA's in Burbank, Glendale, and Pasadena.

Yes I got to see my first xA today. It was a IIP with a lugage rack on the roof. The down side is it was going the oposite direction then me so I only saw it for a sec. I dont think it was local though because of the rack. Probably from Vegas.

 Yeah I know. Im just a big post whore. If I got enough space in my sig left I should add my average # of posts per day to it. I would be changing it to offten though so maybe I should just update it per day.. The real awesome thing is I wont even be getting a scion until next year , so thats kind of sad also.

It comes in bursts... Ill go a month without seeing any Scions at all (other than mine) and then in a day ill see three xBs. Still dont see any xA's anywhere. The xBs i see seem to belong to old people and stupid young rich kids who are not enthusiasts. So im pretty much the only (other than one of my fellow Marines) in the area on ScionLife.

Some old guy in an xB today totally blew me off. I parked next to his (filthy dirt-covered) Black Cherry xB and i was talking to some guy who was curious about my (immaculate) IIP xA and the guy just walked up and completely ignored us and drove off... no interest in discussing his car at all. I mean, what the heck?

Dont buy it if youre not going to love it, thats all i have to say.

i spoted my first Tc today over in the carmel area 126 st and rangeline rd

i kind of don't think scion's are really for the gen why'ers i've been seeing older ppl driving 'em too and i spoted another Xb over on 71st and georgetown rd with an IU plate

(indianapolis area)

sorry i'm not remembering colors...

but was kind of hoping the Tc would of been slightly little bit larger

Seeing an xA is a rare sight here. I guess Ive maybe seen 2 or 3. Caught quite a few tCs recently. The boxes are everywhere though, I see at least one or two every day. I used to try to give them the thumbs up or whatever, but it always seems to be some family or some 40 year old guy that just looks over like "what?". I get more nods from the civic/integra guys.

What is it with the other Scion model owners? I also have only seen xB's and maybe 1 or 2 tC's but whenever I do see them, I honk and give a "what's up" wave. They NEVER do anything back, just look at me like I'm the loser that I am for beeping at these shmucks.

I have friends that are Corvette, Jeep even Harley owners and they have a sense of community. Either the xB/tC owners are elitists or they aren't really proud of their vehicles.

There is a guy at my work that has a black xB and he acts like I'm being a pain in the rear whenever I try to talk to him about his car. He said straight up, he only bought the xB cause of the price. I bought my xA cause I love it and have been pining over it for a year.

Those biker guys have a great sense of community around where I live. Always waving to each other. I think most people on the road, other then the ones here on scionlife, just buy their car to drive it. I dont think they want to be a part of anything. So you just need to find some people who share you views on the scion & they just might wave back to you.
