They need to keep a roof over their heads somehow. It's not such a bad deal.

Bottom line is, if they arent making some money on it, then they arent going to do it. It all comes down to what you really want. Are you willing to take a 5spd but give up on some miles?

rip off unless you get more out of it. 10,000 miles closer to the warranty expiring and you're not familiar with how the previous owner treated the car... i'd be cautious

I'd try to get the TRD springs and such with it. Though, 5speed owns the auto, so I'd probably go with the trade.

It's a fair trade if you want a manual... truth is, the deal is going to make out a bit through the trade. But they're simply NOT going to trade straight up apples for apples...if you know what I mean. You could always try selling on your own for a little bit more than the '05 manual

most people are saying it's not worth it because auto is about $1,000 more and the car he wants has an extra 10k miles on it, worrying about warrenty, and stuff. i would do it with out a doubt. but too bad you made the decision of purchasing auto!!!

even trade is always nice, but as everyone else has said, ask for something more.

You do realize that even with the same mileage that would be a bad trade? And with yours having about half the mileage the other car does...that makes it a terrible trade. Sell your car or trade it in somewhere else, then go after that tC if you want a stick that bad.

im sure they can throw it in

An even trade is more money in their pocket of course.. not a lot more.. it's not a bad deal even at an even trade.. Personally, I like the newer changes in the 07/08 models and would hold out for them.

Screw the trade. Keep your auto and get the auto-tranny upgrades from ZPI. Most people can't drive manual tranny cars effectively, anyway.
