indeed!

stupid question (sorry), but do you lose the space for the spare tire when you install this?

Very cool...I like the stealthiness of the new enclosure. Will you be showing the xA any love??? I would love to get something like this for my cargo area.

No.

The spare isn't in that one because he rocked a pot hole and one tire can't seal anymore because the wheel is so dimpled.

Way too complicated of install for me lol.

Now if this darn snow and rain and freezing cold would stop so I could install this thing. That would be awesome.

The other side doesn't have enough volume for another SQ10 sub.

what keeps it from sliding around.

It's replacing the foam piece that sat there. The spare would be next to it but like mentioned ^^ up there, his spare is on his car :)

what keeps it from sliding around.

The box is surrounded on 3 sides by the interior pieces, leaving the left side as the only direction to slide. On the bottom of the box there is a layer of eDead v4 (i think it is number 4?) which is a soft foam sound deadner. That layer of foam combined with the weight of the box keeps it from sliding left. Also the plastic trim piece from the back of the trunk overlaps one corner of the box, further preventing movement.

so are they still going to release the left side box?

kind of an off topic question, but why such a big price jump for the sq10? is there something different about it? i only paid like 55 for mine.

there's a post he made about the guys wanting to up the price past $100.... after talking and blah blah... it got down to $70..

however, if you purchase the enclosure, which is like $150... then you can get the SQ10 for $55.. for a grand total of $205!

(me need money... want... buy.... grrrr...)

hey squall,

i just got my sub enclosure yesterday (had it replaced because they sent me one of the bad ones) and tested the sq10 for the first time yesterday...i might not keep the setup because i have a ton of bass in the car already and it really doesnt make a difference...you maybe wanna trade for some crazy led work or something? just a thought. the enclosure and sub are brand spankin new...just a thought...

how do you have a ton of bass in the car already? another sub?

i know some of the stock speakers can push out a little bit of bass on the low end... but figured having a SQ10 in the car can help out more for sound.

hmm... sure.. trade sounds cool.
