I had a local shop install my meagan header and s pipe and when i looked at it after the drive home i saw this. should there be a bolt on the right side too? didnt know if this was normal or if they forgot to put the bracket and bolt back on. thanks.http://www.scionlife.com/gallery/personal/24331_8.jpg

yeah... there is... i installed my megan myself... i just bent my bracket out of the way to get the old one out... i never bolted it to the new header... meh... i doubt its all that urgent...

It should look like this:

The brackets are there to support the header so it does not move with the rest of the exhaust. To much movement and stress on the header may lead to the welds breaking.

do you are anyone know where i could purchsed that bracket? called the guys that installed it, yeah, bolts and bracket gone.

Just roll to your nearest auto store and pick up a bolt. Its a 14mm bolt but I dont remember the pitch. I just bought two and use them instead of using the old bolts and there is definately less rattling when you have both screws in.

You should have it from your old headers. If not go back there and get your bracket back!! :doh:

u should beable to find em on the ineternet or get the shop to buy u new ones for losing it.
