ScionVan 12-13-2003, 04:35 AM The five spoke wheels will indeed be going on a Scion.. I'm going to have to check to get the name of the finish on them again, but it was something like "Lightning Silver" I think. They're not as pricey as one would think. $335/each as seen in the pics. In fact, that makes the set of four wheels $1340 (that includes shipping to the US from Japan) which is less than even the retail price of the wheels IN Japan! Don't ask me how I can do it! >HAHA< :)
Let's see... the Termist TM1 Reloaded are avl in 4x100 bolt pattern in 17" only, and in many different widths and offsets, so prices vary. But, for example, let's say you wanted a set of four 17x8", +25mm, A disk wheels all around, price would be $1750 in the same silver finish you see in the pics.
And Louie, if you guys did want Nezart Spokes in 15", I'd recommend a set of 15x8", +25mm front and rear. The lip on those is just about 10mm less than the ones in the pic. Price is about $260/each in the standard silver color. That width coupled with the stock tires will stretch them a little bit, making them look like low-profile aftermarket tires too.
BTW, Brian: Your Workies should be leaving Japan in the next week or so...and should still be scheduled to come in early January. Hey, 2.2 months to get 100% custom made wheels isn't too bad tho, right! I'll keep you posted when they're about to leave Japan...
Verone: I might have a set of wheels for your flared ride! I've got a set of wide and deeeeeeep Euroline Ns coming that I might not want to run (they're a personal set, and I'm already changing my mind about them before they're here :) ...so if you're interested in filling up those flares.....

Yeah, I guess I can wait a little longer.

hahajoey 12-14-2003, 09:14 AM man.. now thats a lip.
see i was thinking..
i can say my car's a box..
so why not get matching rims..
get rims that are the same WIDTH as they size..
well lets try to get close..
u know.. 18x10.5 hehehe something like that would be nice.
yea verone's longo bus needs some spacers or something..
the sunken look isn't cutting it.
Blu_Box 12-14-2003, 02:03 PM Those wheels are sick!!!!
Gotta love the lip.
That lip is smooth like the butter on a muffin :)
I just ordered 19" Axis Spiders, and you got me thinking....
Blu
I can't beleive you are able to order beautiful items such as those deep dish! I need to come over and visit you sometime, possibly an exhaust trade? :D
yanges 12-16-2003, 03:04 AM what do you guys think of these:
http://www.jessejameswheels.com/popup/44r.htm
look like liquid steel! 8)
but they are over $800 wheel, way out of my range :?
Opr8r 01-05-2004, 04:46 AM Van and I got together the other night to see what his Work Nezart Spoke's would look like on an xB, so he slapped them on mine. (16 x 8, +25mm offset, 95mm lip)
Not only did it physically change the stance of the car, but the lip really changes the feel. (NorCal guys: remember the white 5Zigens?)
http://square.phpwebhosting.com/~matthew/my_xB/Opr8r_Works_00.jpg
Note how flush the front wheels are to the fender. That's an 8" width with +25 offset. Just imagine an 8 1/2" width with the same offset! Of course it's all a matter of taste, but I'm thinking that staggered widths and offsets might be the way to go.
http://square.phpwebhosting.com/~matthew/my_xB/Opr8r_Works_02.jpg
I'll try to take some better pics soon.
Peace,
m@
hatchbox 01-05-2004, 05:51 AM that is beyond sick, i love that look
with some spacers in the back it wouldn't matter how high the offset can get whether they are 8" or 8.5"
projxB 01-05-2004, 06:03 AM that looks sooo sick. damn.. i cant wait till i get my 15x8s. hopefully this week sometime. :D :D
projxB 01-05-2004, 06:04 AM whats the drop on your car???
bBted 01-05-2004, 08:36 AM 5zigen Jeff springs
proto_k7 01-06-2004, 12:46 AM Im not feeling jesse's wheels, but I guess its because I dont like chrome..........
If they made those in billet then I would maybe consider looking twice.
jjambox 01-06-2004, 01:06 AM there are some wheels like those on discount tires website. they're called ats planet in 16' with only a 38 offset though
izzles 01-06-2004, 03:55 PM Damn thats freaking nce.....Mad Props
TheRedBox 01-06-2004, 04:42 PM Nice lip!!. I love the width and offset.. IMO 17' or 18's are the way to go. I'm not feeling the 16s.. The spoke design isnt that great either.. BUT DAMN THAT LIP MAKES ME GO
BonnieJ 01-06-2004, 09:31 PM I DO like that!
By any chance did you weigh those wheels before mounting the tires? If not what was your guess as to what they might weigh or whether they were heavy.
Can't wait for an xB!
Ann
UrbanDrum 01-06-2004, 09:39 PM Does any 18x8 +25 rim fit the xB? Does the design matter?
Red_Genie_xB 01-06-2004, 09:42 PM WORK WORK WORK WORK WORK!!!
Djuan 01-06-2004, 09:57 PM damn thats sick !
Opr8r 01-06-2004, 10:58 PM Does any 18x8 +25 rim fit the xB? Does the design matter?
As far as I know, yes. For example... if you go to the Fabulous website (http://www.fabulous.co.jp) look at the specs for the the Fabulous Profound Wheels on the bB, you'll notice that they are:
Front: 18inch x 8.5 + 18mm offset
Rear: 18inch x 9.5 + 18mm offset
I'm not clear on what (if any) mods they did but you can see it with your own eyes if you go to the website.
Peace,
m@
Opr8r 01-06-2004, 11:59 PM I DO like that!

Al-Truistic 01-09-2004, 09:51 PM Those are great! I wonder how nice 15x7's would look...
thanks for posting those matt! How would you rate drivability, feel, etc? Especially in comparison to the inperios?
ScionVan 01-14-2004, 12:59 AM Good to see you got some daytime pics up of the car Matt! The tires on those wheels are a little bit lower profile than one would probably want to run on a Scion... I put those on because I wanted to put the wheels on here:
http://sr20.hybrids.jp/van/miata_nezarts_1.jpg
It's weird, but in static shots, and when the car is standing still, I really do prefer the way the white Inperios look on Matt's white car... but from a 3/4 angle, or in motion, the wheels with lips just RULE!
projxB 01-14-2004, 01:12 AM mmmm those look good on your miata
xB_ey 01-14-2004, 01:13 AM 16's are it...with those tires too :!: only thing is i would want the wheel wells right at the top, or just below the tire to pull off 16's...SICK!!!
i'm seriously thinking about doing 16's though i would have to get rid of my set-ups first...so says wifey  and have to go with some type of coilover set up as well...VAN? :D
