I blew a tire on the side wall making me bellieve that it was a defect in the tire.
I had to buy a new cooper tire for 100 bucks cause i was in th e middle of nowhere.
I took it to the dealer ship to see if they backed their tire being that it was defective and they said NO but what we can do for you is mount and balance the tire free of charge but i would have to buy the tire.

My question is should i go to the dealership and raise holy hell or should i just bend over?

I got mad cuz my front two Yokos went legally bald after 15K miles in my 2000 Mazda MPV. Tires aren't covered under vehicle warranty, but they are sometimes covered under mfgr. warranty. My dealership records showed that tires were included in service and we had all service records, but the tires hadn't been rotated.

Even though it was really the dealer's responsibility to rotate the tires in service, I called Yoko and explained the situation. We got 2 new free tires out of the deal. The key was having a tire technician at America's Tire Company verify the condition of the used tires.

so i should take my tire to a certified goodyear dealer?
If so thank god my uncle is a goodyear dealer

I would have the tire inspected and verified for faulty manufacturing by any tire technician.
Next I would call GoodYear and find out who I should speak to about warranty reimbursment. When you find out who to speak with, give them the information and they should be able to supply you with a replacement tire at no charge minimal.
Sometimes, you can work out a nice deal for a full set since you want them to all wear-in together. :D
