i installed my system today, i had a kinetik 1400 under the hood. BIg 3 done under the hood. installed 2 12" alpine type r subs with 2 hifonics 1606d amps with a kinetik 2400 in back.. went to go put my fuse in under the hood to tune the amps and my car ran like crap.. my traction control buttons on. the VSC come on... and if i go over 3k for rmp the motor bogs down?? what could of caused this? i think maybe the alternator overloaded and blew the power module valve.. any help!!! thanks

im thinking maybe the 2400 battery that i put in back was dead... and it was trying to over charge it.. could that of done it? thanks

dude sounds like what happened to me when i changed my steering wheel, pull the fuse under the dash number 23/ abs fuse. you'll be able ta drive............... good luck

 

pull the abs fuse? ok do i put it back in or just keep it out? and if i keep it out then i have no abs? let me no thanks... i checked every fuse. there all good. i talked to a few peeps they think i overloaded my computer..but i dunno how..thanks

 

i took it out and left it out, no ABS , and the VSC, TRAC lights stay on, you can try to reset your ECU but that didn't work for me, i've had the fuse out for about a month and still running fine, good luck

 

I could help with this.... but, CHADFO and his shoulder monkey UV7 blasted me with both barrels on my first ever post,so.....maybe they can help you since it seems like they know everything.

Brought into the dealer at 9am.. got it back at 1pm.. i guess the mass air flow sensor was messed up.. they said it got shorted. and reading hot

 

??? Blasted??? Please explain as I do not recall blasting anyone. It's just not my style.

 

well, that's just ducked up! how come every problem we ever hear of with an xB comes down to the MAF, that's nuts!! glad your back up and running!!
