Default Girl's car?!

I'm 6'1", Stocky. 275lbs. I have tatoos, I smoke, and usually wear black. I drive an Azure Pearl tC.
My friends really like my tC, but say I look so weird driving it. They say it is a girls car. I try to defend her, but it's a little difficult concidering the color. I'm not a violent person, otherwise I'd just blast 'em in the face with a stick...
I'm eventually going to get Black taillights, better looking tires and rims, maybe a body kit, lowering springs, and a carbon Fiber hood, if only just for looks.
What can I do in the maentime to 'dude' it up a little? My bat-winged skeleton hanging from the mirror just isn't enough.

I've also had females ages ranging from 8 - 65 say my car was cute and/or pretty... and I only got to sleep with one of them...

*sigh*

yea its a bunch of crap all those people saying its a chick car, especially when about 85%+ of the people i see driving them are dudes. as for women saying its cute and pretty, yea they say that about beamers, benz's and other expensive cars. so, dont let those fools get you down and enjoy your tC!

Hope it wasn't the 8 year old or the 65 year old.

Your car looks nice as is. Don't worry about what other people say. Although I have noticed many more girls driving tCs than I used to.

But I can't think of anything you can do to dude up your car. Maybe bull horns in the front and gun rack in the back??

Depends on how much money you want to spend. It IS do-able.

In my defense, I didnt but the car new. It was a year-old dealer demo. (smart, huh? I think I got hosed for the new price, too!) Anyway, It doesn't really bother me.. I just tell them chicks are more willing to roll in a non-threatening ride.

...and she was 19.

You know what's funny?
Some of the most "manly" muscle cars came out in "gurly" colors.
Don't listen to it - I got the same crap when I bought mine.
I'm 6'4", 235 and while I don't have any ink, I'm no gurl.
I also had and have to put up with "why didn't you buy XXX (as in Xpensive) car?"

Don't bother worrying about it.
Tools.

Girls say my car is cute all the time! And I'm driving a box on wheels! I take them as compliments. Tint it up(I'd do this first), drop, some wheels or exhaust.

I dont know who's signature it is but it says you might think i drive a girl car, but think abou that when you girls' gettin in there with me! or something to that effect!

I just think of that, and to be honest, I have seen woman around here drive a friggin 10 foot tall chevy with an exhaust that you could hear from Africa! Flip it on them and say " NUH UH! YOU HAVE A GIRL CAR!!!!!"

that'll show em!

i already have tint. It's 33%. BUT... It also has a reflctive layer, so it kinda drags the color of the car up onto the windows a little... so now, half the time, my tint looks half blue! Just my luck, huh? In retrospect, I should have got a new one with the supercharger and a lot fewer airbags. (my tC has 9 friggin airbags!!!) Which will also be a problem if I ever decide to get different seats...

I get those comments too. I have older people (40 to 60) come up to me and say they're looking for a car for their daughter to use off in college. It does look like a car that a girl would drive. My cousin, who works at a Toyota/Scion dealership, says that most owners that bring in their tCs to have serviced are females. And a few of the male owners come in with it lowered with nice aftermarket wheels and modified.

Considering that you're 6.1' at 275lbs, you do look odd in the tC. Not because the tC looks like a girls car but because you look big in a small car. That's not a bad thing though. I think the tC looks good for anyone who's into a car that has a classy look. It's cheap to for what you get standard with it. That's probably why the tC is a popular car that will continue to outsell Cobalts and new Civics.
