whats the hand sign or wave when you pass another scion driver.is there something special that others do? I'm just curious.

 

I've given up on trying to wave to other scion drivers. Its usually an grandma or grandpa that looks at me funny when I signal them.

Now I just stare at the driver and if they acknowledge me, I'll wave.

 

Around here it's mostly older people that own Scions and they don't really wave back. They are too busy talking on their cell phones or trying to keep their kids calm. LOL.

 

Theres not a lot of tCs here, so we all wave and park next to each other and stuff...

^^ Ditto( at evade). If I do see a tC it's usually one of those girls that "Drive a silver car". But one time another tC pulled up to me and we played a little cat and mouse. That's about the extent of it tho.

 

all the scion owners around here are hella mean to me, ill wave, throw out a peace sign or something like that and they just look at me all funny and stuff.

if any of you saw the south park where people were so "smug" they liked the smell of their own farts and thought they were to good for everything because they drive a prius, picture that but in real life

 

All old people here drive tcs too so i dont bother

 

actually i have seen a lot of old people drive the XB's. like 50 and over. and i'm like what.......

 

xA owners are alright....... tC owners though........ 70% of the time a tC comes up from behind me, they want to race, and this started on day 1 w/ me driving back from the dealership and it's been the same crap most of the time.. There was 1 time where a nice looking black tC w/ HID's was on the highway, I got next to him but he didnt want to look over, oh well.

 

I acknowledge with a head nod. Then they laugh about my rear bumper. HA!

 

bump that here tcs are like hondas 3 at every corner i wave like hell at the cats but they dont see me dont care or windows are to tinted for me to get the wave back

 

there are more young then older drivers of scions in cali; but most of them seem angry at the world so there is no point in waving for me

 

Also, i have found in my town that most of the tc drivers are women, almost all of the Xb driver's are men, and that the Xa has fallen off the face of the earth here in Missoula, I have not seen more than this real nasty one with a huge gouge down its side! poor Xa...

 

i have a friend that drives and xB then everyone else that drives on it like 50 and older. and theres maybe 2 other tc's and chicks driving them...

Yah I've been keeping track of how many girls or guys drive tCs because Im afraid of it turning into a girl's car...it's pretty even. Most girls I see couldn't even tell it was a tC even if it was their own so I don't bother, but guys I always give a thumbs up if its modded or a nod if its not.

 

About 7 tCs here. All of them driven by girls who have done nothing to them. One has the gray vinyl graphics on the side and the fogs, so I can always tell when I see her around. But I have never made any kind of gesture to any of them.

 

If its stock and got a dealership decal on the back i just drive on by because more times then not its an old guy or someone who wouldnt even know im driving a scion too. If it looks modded then i give a head nod.
