I want to add some bass to my Scion tC 2007, and I want to put this Rockford Fosgate T212D2
Dual 2 ohms 12" Power Stage 2 Subwoofer . But My question is if I can Plug an Amplifier to this Head Unit " Pioneer AM/FM/CD + IPod Capability"... And if so.., What amp would u guys recommend???

 

You're going to need a LOC for the stock head unit, as it does not come with RCA pre-outs. Alpman from www.yoursciontc.com sells a harness that is plug and play behind the head unit. Very easy way to integrate an amp.

As for amp, an Elemental Designs Nine.1 is going to be fantastic for it. www.edesignaudio.com

And if you want my $0.02, you should run 2AWG or 1/0AWG wire for an amp that is pushing that kind of power.

 

You can also use an rca stepdown/impedance adaptor, that's what I'm using and it works great.
