shortbusxb 03-06-2007, 02:51 AM Where do you get those Retro Taillights?
TheJonas53 03-06-2007, 02:57 AM I got them from some guy off of ebay. They were a display item in some store and they were originaly painted BCP.
raceronabudget 03-06-2007, 03:19 AM i like those headlights. that spoiler looks a little out of place to me though.
chadfo 03-06-2007, 03:30 AM Nice mods! I have to agree with raceronabudget about the spoiler.
tC9o9 03-06-2007, 03:35 AM are you serious about the spoiler? i dont think you put it on right. its supposed to go on top of the hatch.
YELOSUB 03-06-2007, 03:52 AM If I recall correctly, that particular lip spoiler can be mounted 2 different ways...
Nice job on the mods!
Tboneterenzi 03-06-2007, 03:52 AM cant be on right, looks like it fits on top?
raceronabudget 03-06-2007, 04:02 AM i'm sure he has seen the other ways to mount it. i have, and i dont really care for any, but i guess i like how he has it the most.
superboxcarxb 03-06-2007, 06:18 AM are the bulbs bright on those headlights?
TheJonas53 03-06-2007, 12:35 PM I layed that spoiler on top and it look really goofy to me. To me the way I put it looks better than it would have if I put it on top.
And for the headlights I havent had a chance to get out and drive it at night. Its been sitting in my shop ever since I pulled it out of storage. But when I get a chance Il let you know.
chubster41 03-06-2007, 04:18 PM love those halos!!!
firesquare 03-07-2007, 11:24 AM the headlights look awesome in person. if i don't ever find a FFF for the front end, ill definitely pick up these things
burstaneurysm 03-07-2007, 02:44 PM Looks good, I'm not really digging the spoiler though. Maybe if it was 3/4" longer on either side to meet the edge of the hatch it'd be fine. Otherwise, the shape and placement of it looks pretty good.
TheJonas53 03-07-2007, 05:50 PM Thanks for all of the comments. Good and bad keep them coming.
Well I have my first problem with everything ive done so far. My bBist headlights are fogging up. From what I was told they were not suposed to do that.
burstaneurysm 03-07-2007, 06:03 PM ^ All headlights will fog, it's just the difference in temp from the heat of the lamp to the outside air temp. Seeing that you're in WI, it's safe to imagine that it's still at least moderately cold up there. There's going to be condensation when the inside/outside temps are really different.
Supposedly, the bbist ones have vent plugs in the back, it might help clear that up if you open the vent.

Indeed it is still cold it was in the 20s today. I removed 3 plugs from each housing after I got off of work today. So Il see what that does.
westsype 03-08-2007, 04:10 PM Everything looks good except the spoiler. That just looks retarded. It doesn't even go all the way accross the rear hatch.
mad-sciontist 03-08-2007, 04:13 PM Everything looks good except the spoiler. That just looks retarded. It doesn't even go all the way accross the rear hatch.I agree, not feeling the spoiler... :nails:
mike51392 03-08-2007, 04:33 PM funny i like the spoiler , who makes that spoiler and how much?
TheJonas53 03-09-2007, 02:43 AM funny i like the spoiler , who makes that spoiler and how much?
Its another ebay item. Its a 45" lip spoiler. I paid a little over $30 for it.
are the bulbs bright on those headlights?
They are pretty decent for brightness. Im still working on aligning them.
CREEPINGONCHROME 03-09-2007, 03:27 AM spoiler looks real small, funny but the box looks good!
bspxb_krystal 03-10-2007, 04:37 AM i like that spoiler. i went searching on ebay but couldn't find it. any helpful hints? manufacturer? seller?
Gsnorgathon 03-10-2007, 05:55 AM Lovin' the tails. Did you paint them yourself? If so, how'd you get them apart? (Or did you?)
RedneckwithanxB 03-10-2007, 05:58 AM i gotta say man looks good, the spoiler is different but looks better than none, gotta say that atleast
TheJonas53 03-10-2007, 01:32 PM Lovin' the tails. Did you paint them yourself? If so, how'd you get them apart? (Or did you?)
Im not a very good painter so I gave them to a guy I work with. But I know that the lenses had to be masked off because none of it comes apart.
Xb_Stud 03-10-2007, 02:44 PM I want those headlights!! Looks good. I like the tails too.
TheJonas53 03-13-2007, 01:06 AM Bump new pics on first post.
