vvt-i.....HELP!
i was just havin a drink with couple of my buddies who also drive a tc,
and we came to an unsolved question about scion tc's engine, not one of us knew
where the tc's engine came from and one of them said they are pretty sure it came from toyota camry and the other one said toyota celica.....can anyone help us!!!!

The 2AZ-FE is a 2.4 L (2362 cc) version built in Georgetown, KY. Bore is 88.5 mm and stroke is 96 mm. Output is 157 hp (117 kW) at 5600 RPM with 162 ft·lbf (220 N·m) of torque at 4000 RPM. The 2AZ-FE also has one-piece cast camshafts. Output for the 2007 Toyota Camry is 158hp and 161 lft lbs of torque

yeah it does....well most or all of the toyotas now days have vvt-t or vvtl-i or more recently dvvt-i...(dual vvt-i)...but as for the same engine ours is different...
and dude trust me i had a matrix...
vvti.. all it means its ..Variable Valve Timing with intelligence.
and the vvtl-i is like the oOO so famous V-tec

celica engine (1zz-fe) or (2ZZ-ge)
camry and tc (2az-fe) two different engine codes mean two different engines.
well even the xB and the xA has vvt-i tho it has 1nz-fe.... a smaller engine
