jsa3mm 03-06-2007, 08:26 PM I like the fact that your wheels give that little something extra without taking away from the tC in any way.
draxcaliber 03-06-2007, 08:31 PM i'm not feeling the rims. look too much like the ones on the acura rsx
Sleep3r 03-06-2007, 08:35 PM ^^ i was just gonna say that until i scrolled down and saw your comment
Mush627 03-06-2007, 09:47 PM i'm not feeling the rims. look too much like the ones on the acura rsx
you're right they are similar...did you take a look at the second video i posted though? they do the wheels much more justice than the pictures, they look great in motion
NickstC 03-06-2007, 10:10 PM Clean look, not too flashy reminds me of the stock 18's on a newer Maxima . Do you man it only matters if you like it, congrats .
IcetC 03-06-2007, 10:15 PM hey i've seen those rims b4 they put those on the new ford fusion when you get the "sport" package i guess u would call it idk what ford calls it but it comes with a nice suttle lip kit and these rims but i've seen em in chrome though but looks good keep up the good work
Dakine 03-06-2007, 10:22 PM PLS LOWER YOUR CAR SOON
mandangalo 03-06-2007, 10:24 PM those look pretty good in motion, not all ricediculous like some other people on here
i have some 5 spoke 16" kosei wheels that are lightweight and going on my tc as soon as the weather gets better. they kinda look similar to what you have going on.
BuddhasTC 03-06-2007, 10:25 PM the Honda Accord wheels are not really my thing...but it looks ok
guitarguru44 03-06-2007, 10:29 PM man thats a nice a nice pontiac G5..
nahh im just kidding.. you need to drop it though to make those rims look even nicer.. exhaust sounds good
Hyghgynx 03-06-2007, 10:53 PM The exhaust doesn't sound too bad. A lot better than stock! Rims are nice too. Will look 10x better one you throw on the TRD Springs. (YES! I read you "p.s.". :P ) Good job.
DTRUONG_112 03-06-2007, 11:00 PM wheels give it that clean nice stock look.
andino 03-07-2007, 12:31 AM i like it. the rims are aggressive yet subtle enough not to take away from the overall beauty
nebster 03-07-2007, 02:30 AM drop it . hard
--Final_Wrath-- 03-07-2007, 02:37 AM I didnt know Chicago was so empty that you can actually have a whole photo shoot in a garage+videos..lol....But I like the rims, but like everyone else said......get some springs....it would look alot better..
rolstc 03-07-2007, 03:00 AM nice tc ..
Since your from Chi. you should check out our SE chapter website in my signature. Hope to see you and ride soon.
I don't know what the heck you guys are talking about, it's obviously Mazda3 wheels. I think it looks perfect, very nice and classy, fits the tC.
Isn't the exhaust sitting a little close to the bumper?
roflitzjinno 03-07-2007, 04:16 AM youre in wilmette. im in skokie. we should meet up. =]
Mush627 03-07-2007, 05:59 AM thanks for the responses everyone. i cant wait to get my car lowered itll most likely be done within the next week so i cant post pictures of the car with a much more aggressive stance to fit the wheels.
Final Wrath, right now im actually in ohio at miami university thats why the parking lot was so empty its brand new. It would actually be a great spot for a meeting considering no one ever parks there.
roflitzjinno, ill let you know when i get back home to meet up
SSQ, it looks like it from the pictures that its sitting a little close but no problems yet. im going to clamp the rubber piece though before i lower it to give it a little more room
Racersky 03-07-2007, 06:34 AM i'm not feeling the rims either......nice looking Tc though
jovan_gonzales 03-07-2007, 06:40 AM Whatev, I love the rims. Those are the ones I want for my car ... but I want 19s, lol. I think they look great.
BLUEMEANIE 03-07-2007, 03:08 PM The rims look slick. Very clean with none of the tuner or baller nonsence.
How big is the tip on your exhaust? 4"?

thanks bud, here is the measurment for the tip - 100 millimeters = 3.93700787 inches
Hat_Trick_Hokie 03-07-2007, 03:49 PM I think the wheels looks great. They are something different. Kind of a clean OEM look.
Tito_Cruz 03-07-2007, 05:27 PM I don't like the rims but I like the fact that it gives your car a new look without being way too far out there. Almost like a stock look but....not stock!
Keep up the good work.
Mush627 03-07-2007, 06:08 PM Here is a new pic and two that I did with my photoshop skills to accentuate the overall sleekness to the scion tC...
IMO there are too many people out there that don't realize how well designed and attractive this car is, and im speaking of those other car owners who hate on the tC...anyways hope you like

mitchelltc1 03-07-2007, 06:13 PM Nice pics. I think the rims are great. The exhaust is ok... Great looking car and thanks for posting
chrischoi 03-07-2007, 09:14 PM i think if you lower it. it will rub. it'll leave a nasty mark on the tires. ROLL DEM FENDER JAWNS!
mine was like $400 each side. rolled and repainted. i only have one side done. lol.
CSOCSO 03-18-2007, 06:16 AM those rims looks just like an audi rims.
trdscion 03-18-2007, 06:19 AM the rims make it look scary close to a Pontiac G6. exhaust looks good and the drop will help a lot, that's what I have going in.
Hyghgynx 03-18-2007, 07:43 AM i think if you lower it. it will rub.
Are you serious? He only has a 225 tire and TRD Springs (1.25" drop all around.). I have the same set-up with 18x8.5 rims with a +35 offset and I do not come close to rubbing.
insanetc 03-18-2007, 12:54 PM not bad...the rims do remind me of my brothers rsx types stocks rims but thats not a bad things they sick...but deff need to be dropped..i didnt see anyone ask but wut kinda springs you gettin...
i actually saw a tc the other day at the gas station and they had similar rims but from scion i never saw them before...
FIREDOG 03-18-2007, 03:34 PM drop. drop. drop. very nice though

im debating on which springs to get...i talked to a couple guys at the scion dealership who said if i get the TRD springs and struts together i could get 1.75" all around which i think would look great.
the other option is the performance shop that i go to sells an eibach pro kit, which are the springs the TRD uses anyway. they have a car in the showroom with that kit install and i love the stance the eibach kit gives. i just have to decide what i want.
Mush627 03-18-2007, 08:17 PM also yes in pictures for some reason the rims make it look like a pontiac G6...ill try to take some more pictures that show how cool the wheels are, i need better light and better angles.
but in person when you are actually looking at the wheels they are much more aggresive looking, there are a couple angles cut into the rims that you cannot see unless close up. ill post some better pictures soon.
Very nice setup, cant wait to see it lowered!
SCIONOSIS 03-19-2007, 01:50 AM Hey MUSH.
Where is that parking structure where you had your photoshoot?
I'm in the SW subs.
Mush627 03-19-2007, 02:06 AM Hey MUSH.
Where is that parking structure where you had your photoshoot?
I'm in the SW subs.
It's at Miami of Ohio University, I'm still at school right now and the parking lot was just built so nobody uses it yet. Sorry for the confusion.
SCIONOSIS 03-19-2007, 02:15 AM ahh. Gotcha.
Never seen a parking garage that is enclosed from outside atmosphere in Chicago areas.
So I was wondering cuz it looks clean for photoshoots.
BTW. Nice tC
Mush627 03-19-2007, 03:18 AM i just got back from a road trip and had to wash my car real bad...here are some new pics that highlight the wheels...very aggresive i love them :eyebrow: :eyebrow:

Mush627 03-21-2007, 09:13 PM I finally got it lowered...Eibach Pro Kit...mine are actually lowered 1.5" even though they are listed in threads as 1.2". The performance shop showed me the measurements and everything from the computer alignments, very happy with it they ride beautifully... :) :)
