My car is in the garage right now and all the panels inside the trunk are
taken off to reach the 4 bolts (2 on each side) that hold the spoiler in place.

Now I have to deal with the 3M tape.

1. Where is the safest spot to start yanking from? The sides or in the middle?

I tried but it won't budge what so ever.

2. Are there more than 4 screws holding it down?

3. What's a good way to weaken the 3M tape? This thing holds like concrete!

 

yeah its just the bolts and some PIA tape...


I used a blowdryer to heat up the tape so it got mushy then used a fishline to cut it but make sure once its cut not to let it fall again then it will stick again....


just pull one side then go to the other

What are you putting on instead of the pedestal...i have one too. and was kinda wondering if it was possible to cover it up with somethin else
