Default Tracer Widebody Kit

I'm curious to see if anyone is actually running this kit. http://www.visionautodynamics.com/pr...productID=2555 I've been thinking about getting it for my 04 xA but I wanted to know what other people thought of it. Do I have to remove my front mud guards to install it? How much does it lower the lines of the car things like that. Or if you don't care for this kit suggest one to me and tell me WHY it's better. Thanks for the help. (Kit costs 1600 straight from vision if anyone has a line on a better price share it!)

if you're worried about mud guards, forget that kit. to make it look like that will be a lot of time and work and money.

Search for LJ Garcia widebody, that's what this kit is actually called. There's a guy in Texas that runs this kit as well as one in northern Cali. I believe that maybe the kit will be lower by at least 1 inch as this seems to be true for most aftermarket kits such as the Fab kit and Kenstyle that I am familiar with. Now by getting a kit such as this you are committting yourself to finding some wide stance wheels and spacers to 'push' the edge of the wheels out to the new body line, otherwise they will look out of place and sunken in. Check out the xA picture thread that is stickied in the forum and about 6 pages back, I think, is a picture of a white xA with this kit.

i personally dont like this kit. i think it makes our cars look weird. but to all his own. like psyco said, there is alot more work and money involved in doing this kit. like most kits its not going to be perfect and alot of body work is going to have to be done to make it look good.

I appreciate the posts. I know all about the body work but luckily I'm good friends with a guy the owns a body shop who volunteered to do it all for free for me so that's not my problem. If not this kit which would you suggest?

Check out the parts section, most of the known bodykits are in there. Some of my personal favorites are the Rando and Airwalker kits.

Okay I must be missiong something here cause I go to the parts section and I don't see either of those in either of the bodykit sections or the lip kit sections... Though that Ducks-Garden body kit is pretty chill...
