Default tuning the blitz?

i read in one of the threads that some people have done tuning using stand alone management or something better than what comes with the blitz.

does anybody have any details on that?

i am considering getting a SC because turbo looks too complicated and i do not care to fully maximize power output.
i am working on a full stand alone management system, so i will not be using the crappy piggy back.

the blitz is the only SC that i know of that fits the xa. am i mistaken?

thanks

greddy makes another supercharger kit, and i am not sure what is out there as far as engine managment for xb specific but you can always go with a motec or haltech system. But, those are pricey for what you are going to get out of it. THe only benefits i see for the standalone would be better gas mileage (because it would be tuned) and you would have a safer tune with an ignition option. If you want to save some money and half ___ the reliability you can always wire in an emanage or an afc.

i'm sure the engine managment would work similar or the same to the xa since same engine and drivetrain. the supercharger from greddy they said had fittment issues with the hood of the xa for some reason over the xb. otherwise i'm sure it would be a great mod for the xa owners to try.

i am working on a megasquirt for management. $400 but you have to figure it out yourself.

so far, there are a lot of open issues with the blitz in my mind. i will probably call them on monday.

does anybody know how much of an issue it is to fit an xB SC in an xa? i don't mind cutting my hood a little, but i can't reinforce so i won't cut a lot away.

thanks guys
