View Full Version : Rear Window Wiper Fluid LuvMytC1 08-27-2004, 04:56 AM The rear window wiper fluid on our xB does not spray it drips a stream downward....is it like this for anyone else or should we get this checked out? Thanks, Erin George 08-27-2004, 05:05 AM the rear sprayer on the xB should be called the "dribbler", because that is all it does. The reason is that the fluid is pumped all the way from the front of the car in a small hose, so it loses pressure along the way. The whole rear washer/wiper setup is cheap cheap cheap. They would have been better off leaving the whole thing off. George u83rp5ych0 08-27-2004, 05:19 AM i think it looks kinda like its urinating on my rear window. me and my disguating mind :) Bartx7000 08-27-2004, 05:44 AM Mine works good. It is like a supersoaker. TheScionicMan 08-27-2004, 07:51 AM Yeah, it's useless. I refuse to let that crap dribble down my paint and in even the hardest rain we had last winter, the back window never got wet enough that the window wouldn't streak on the second swipe... I finally got tired of drying and waxing around that stupid wiper so I took the arm off. Once I get something to fill the hole, the motor and stuff is coming out. For now it powers my tail, so I can wag it when I'm happy: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v250/thescionicman/Boxtail.jpg xboxPS2 08-27-2004, 08:52 AM me, my co-prez adam and my philly VP all took the motor out...5 minute mod!!! switch that black thing around, shove a quarter in the hole and VOILA!!! it's leak free and u have at least a quarter at all times.... no it really does work....u can use a black marker like one of us did and color in the quarter and it looks a lot more natural...
