To me it looks like that headlight may be done for as well. That side mounting point looks crushed but thank God it wasn't worse. I take it what the other person's fault?

 

Realisticly? yes it was their fault. ticket wize? mine. figures. she stopped to let me out too... oy gevault!

 

that really sucks, i almost got rear ended today too. this taxi in front of me suddenly stopped so i suddenly stopped and looked in my rear view mirror to see if there was some1 behind me, i saw this guy flying full speed behind me so i closed my eyes and hoped i would just wake up in the emergency room, but he swerved to my side at the last minute and was yelling and cursing at the guy that cut him off and i gave that other guy the finger and left singing "don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me". LOL.

 

I know how that is. My xB gets out of the body shop next week. The worse part is that the Body shop has had it longer than me.

I take it you were fine, but since this is the first side-impact I'VE seen since the IIHS side-impact results were released...did you have any fun impacts with the inside of your door? I would think your feet at least would have gone whacking against the side of the footwell.

Not that this accident was anywhere close to those tests...I'm just curious.

...btw, you weren't the kid whose parents were trying to ditch the box after that, were you? o_0

 

ditch the box? no way! this happened ony a few days ago and no injuries, skrew their side inpact ratings! besides i watched their video, its rigged, they hit dead on into the door, not hitting any strutural pillars i think i got the maximum on injuries; a bruise (about the side of my thumb) and lost some skin on my kneecap and it bled a little. LOL like that counts as an injury, my cat has done worse! btw there was no internal damage.

MICHIGAN SUX! BUT FOR ONE IT IS A GOOD PLACE! NO FAULT INSURANCE! she pays her bill i pay mine. so whatev she has got to pay is her problem! i was hit by a ford compact pickup truck... thing?



kinda looked like that. idk, all i know is that she was worried about the vaccum in the back of her car.
