Default many many scratches soulton?

Just washed my car today and I have so many scratches I don't know where to begin. Got one on the diver sides about 5 inches long, very noticeable, on on passenger sides 2 inches, several hari line scratches all near both back wheels, a few chips on my hood?? Im not exactly happy here. What can I do to at least eliminate these scratches? Maybe the dealer would repair them? or a body shop? I also wonder how much I would be looking at. Thanks.

You can use Scratch X for the scratches around the car and follow up with a good polish and wax. If they aren't down to the metal it will help improve the look if not completely clean the scratches out. For the rock chips you can try touch up, but the dealer wont fix them for free. I'm not exactly sure the cost of professional repair, but it would depend on how much there is to fix.

Yeah, I haven't done my post-winter inspection yet but I've been noticing little imperfections as well.

Try turtle wax's rubbing compound. It'll take out a lot. Especially those annoying little scratches right behind the door handle.

Should I get a normal wax since its a new finish or should I get a cleaner wax? I heard cleaner wax is for weathered conditioned finishes, mines shiny except for the scratches...would a normal wax be good enough? And the scratch x can be used anywhere right? I don't care about my hood chips because i allready have the touch up paint, the scratches are what kills me. I cant wait for warm weather to fix all these things.

I use Meguiars wax. And yes, Scratch X can be used anywhere painted.

try www.paintscratch.com they have the exact match color for your car and they include everything you need to make it look the way it did before it got hurt.

anything that takes out scratches will take off some clear coat, how else could it remove the scratches? Most of the time, you're making the transition from the scratch to the normal paint more gradual, which makes the scratch less noticeable.

When I had some paintless dent repair done, the auto body guy recommended 3M Finesse-It, seen here http://www.autogeek.net/3mfiniimacpo.html

I bought the scratch x for an abrasive substance and a normal turtle wax for nothing extravagant, then a polish to finish up. Will get to this next dry day. the paint chips i am goign to leave untill its warmer.
