Default wash and wax day photoshoot - FM 07 tC

today the weather finally got into the 50's, so i decided it was a nice enough day to do some washing and waxing. Plus just installed my pedestal spoiler last night as well, so i needed to show it off.

here are some pics. please keep in mind alot of the car is still factory, no lip, no lowered, factory rims. i'm doing a little at a time. i think next thing on the agenda is either a new set of lenses and some HIDs or some airbags to lower the car. windows are a 20% tint all around

the rear end

keyhole plugs

looking down driver side from back

front view with VRD fogs

front passenger view

front driver view

rear view with new spoiler

AVIC D2 watching best movie ever made

AVOX Video Jukebox

let me know what you guys think

spoiler install went ok. a little longer then i expected. took almost 3 hours. i couldnt bear to drill holes in my trunk, so i had my friend do it, couldnt watch . we stripped out the threads of one of the holes, so had to run to the hardware store to get a bigger screw, and that ate up a good 45 mins of the time

i dont know if i want springs or airbags. we get snow in the winter here, and i dont want my car lowered permanently. would be nice to be able to raise it a lil during winter.

Nice car! I have the AVIC-D2 as well and am interested in the AVOX Jukebox you have. So basically it's just a harddrive that allows you to put video files on it? How do you transfer the files from your computer to the avox? Also, can you play the files without the ebrake pulled? I may have to buy one of these for my unit instead of an external DVD player.

thats where i got mine. you just have to put a laptop hdd in it. I had an 80 gigger in my macmini that i never used anymore. so stole it out of there. it will play any video file you throw at it. avi/divx/xvid/vob/iso. the back of the enclosure has a usb port that you just plug it into your computer, and you drag and drop the files over to the hdd. very simple. i love mine, over a dvd player that you'd have to swap discs to watch something else

That made my day now that I know those exist..haha! That may be my next purchase. Did you have to do the ebrake bypass or will this work without the ebrake being pulled?

need to to the ebrake mod to watch while driving

speaking of e-break. my ebrake needs to be pulled all the way now for it to lock. when i got it a few months ago i could only do it like 3/4ths way and all would be good. is that covered under warranty from Scion?

you DICK
The e-brake will get more loose over time . It just needs to be tensioned up . You could probably do it but , anyone with auto knowledge will be able to do it . Just remember . Do not pull up on it so hard when you get it done . As for warranty , I would certainly think it would be covered . After all , it will take more time for them to do the paperwork than the mechanic tightening it up
