Still am torn between Thundercloud and Black Cherry. Yes, I have children, 2 girls 11 & 14. It does matter to me what they think...that's just me. I can't wait to see it with all the upgrades! Thanks to all of you who replied...YOU convinced them! By the way, my 75 year old mother loves it the most...she can't wait until I get it.

Enjoy it Kimber! I had wanted the Hot Lava initially but couldn't wait the months to get it so I took the dark blue. My daughter wanted the black cherry, she's 14 so I'd imagine your girls might want that color too.

Come to any one of the scion shows nationwide to see all the things you can do to it. I finally got out of my minivan after my oldest turned old enough to drive. Having my little box has been a BLAST.

Even my mother-in-law loves this car.

Congrats! I was torn between Polar white and Thundercloud myself, be once i saw the thundercloud in person, and realized that only the Landcruiser and 2005 Celica share this color, I wanted it for sure. BCP is a nice color- but dodge makes a deep purple/red simular to it and when I see a BCP xB it reminds me of a Dodge Caravan!...

Plus TCM hides dust dirt very well!, Went through a bad rainstorm and the only way you could tell it was dirty was from the black windows!!

Nice, but don't get suckered into the options. Buy them aftermarket from someone online-they'll cost you half as much (check www.scionsport.com, they've got pretty much everything, from dealer accessories to japanese import stuff to sweet aftermarket parts).

EXACTLY! I've saved tons ordering the options on-line instead of the dealer!

Which is fine if you're the do-it-yourself type. But if you don't want to be drilling holes for a spoiler, running wires for foglights or a subwoofer, changing wheels, wrenching intake and exhaust systems or whatever, then getting it all from the dealer can be an appealing way to go -- particularly if you'd rather roll it all into the financing rather than laying out the cash or putting it on your credit card. Sure, the accessories are overpriced, but the saving from other sources aren't that great -- especially by the time you add shipping and pay someone to install it. And don't forget -- your own time is worth something.
