The kits from Japan don't fit. First, their center bezel is made up of two pieces (ours is 1 piece + plus the compartment) Secondly, their speedometer is reveresed since their steering wheel is on the other side. I already ordered a kit and unfortunately, learned the hard way.
I painted my speedometer housing. :D

showpaojoe 12-12-2003, 05:06 PM Did you get it from scionfx? I was just there and it doesn't include the flip open compartment and it is in the right direction, they just got it in

Are you referring to this kit?
http://www.mattguillory.com/my_xB/Bezel_Trim_00.jpg
The only pieces that fit are the A/C vent trim and the speedometer trim. The bezel trim does not fit. (BTW.. I got this from newscionparts.com aka Carson Toyota)
The kit is just trim only.

I see someone has been using their special dealer manual to cause some serious modding! What else can we expect from ya m@? anything else special coming up? It looks so clean too, was it hard at all reamoving the gauge from the housing?
showpaojoe 12-12-2003, 06:34 PM ya but the silver things that come stock goes all the way down and is connected so it looks like the legs of an "H"

Hey Gabe! Not too hard to remove... it's just 7 claws, 2 clips, and 1 screw. Interior door panels and pillars are next.

m@

I'll look into that. I know that the pillars on either side of the windshield are held on with claws/clips, but I think you need to remove the dash speaker grilles first (but they too, are also held on with clips.)
